Becky is a ray of sunshine.  She truly is a Pollyanna who sees the good in everyone and makes the best of even a bad situation.  She brightens up even the darkest of days with her happy singing and occasional whistling (even though her mother told her polite girls don’t whistle.)

Sherman Shaw is a great debater.  You’ll never win an argument when he is around but you have to try or he won’t be happy.  The more you argue with him the more it makes his day.

Baloo’s heart is as big as his hind paws although he’s a bit sensitive about the size so don’t bring it up.  His motto is “A day is wasted if a good deed is left undone.”  He’s not one to sit idle so don’t be surprised if all your chores are done when you get home.  It’s already earned him three bear scout badges in a week.

Webster’s favourite colour is red. He’s so attached to his red sweater that he will sit anxiously in the laundry basket waiting for it to be washed and dried.  His favourite story is Little Red Riding Hood but he swears it’s a bear that saves her from the big bad wolf and not a lumberjack!  By the way he loves to snack on raspberries, rhubarb and red licorice.

Be warned that Harvey is very precocious.  He’s a happy-go-lucky little Irish leprechaun who loves playing practical jokes.  So don’t let those studious glasses and innocent look fool you, he once glued the lid on Uncle Solomon’s honey pot and dyed Webster’s favourite red sweater green.  They couldn’t help but forgive him though; he’s just so darned cute … and he does make amends.
