Having your fur coat turned into a Teddy Bear is a great way to create an Heirloom keepsake to remind you of someone special.

You can often get several bears from one coat. So instead of hanging it in one person's closet have bears made and several people can enjoy the love of a Teddy Bear with sentimental meaning. A bear can be personalized to be a special reminder of the person who owned the coat. By doing this they become a true FORGET-ME-NOT BEAR.

I can often get multiple bears from one fur coat or stole ( # depends on size of bear wanted). Bears can also be made from fur hats, leather coats, or other articles. The condition of the coat can also play a factor in the number of bears you can get. However, just because a coat is old doesn't mean it can not be turned into bears. Just be aware that sometimes old pelts are quite delicate and can tear during process or after bear is complete. I do line all pieces to reinforce pelts. If coat is in poor condition I will discuss any concerns prior to starting. I DO NOT however work with moldy coats or coats with bad odors.

• Use lining of coat to make a bow or vest
• put initials from coat on bear outfit
• attach a reduced size picture of the person who owned the coat onto the bear
• incorporate jewelry or glasses of coat owner on the bear
